Terms and conditions
These terms explain how bookings through KhanePe work: KhanePe’s role as an aggregator, how quotes are shared, how payments are scheduled, and what happens if plans change.
What is KhanePe’s role?
KhanePe, operated by KhanePe Hungermall LLP, is a catering aggregator. It receives your requirement, shares it with pre-vetted vendors, shortlists the best three quotations and coordinates the order. The vendor you confirm prepares, delivers and serves the food and is responsible for its preparation and for compliance with food safety law.
How do bookings and quotes work?
Requirements must be submitted at least 7 days before the event. KhanePe calls you to understand the requirement, shares it with multiple vendors and forwards the best three quotations. A quotation lists the menu, inclusions and price; a booking is confirmed only when you accept one quotation and pay 25% of its amount.
How are payments scheduled?
Payments are made in three parts: 25% of the accepted quotation to confirm the booking; 50% after KhanePe reaffirms preparations three days before the event, when time, date, venue address and mode of serving are mapped; and the remaining 25% to complete the order. The invoice is handed over on the event day.
Can an order be changed or cancelled?
Changes to headcount, menu or timing should be shared as early as possible, and in any case before the reconfirmation three days before the event; changes may alter the price. Confirmed bookings cannot be cancelled: once the 25% booking amount is paid, the vendor reserves the date, staff and supplies for your event.
How are feedback and complaints handled?
Feedback and a review are collected after every event. Complaints about food or service should be raised with KhanePe on the event day where possible, so the team can take them up with the vendor while details are fresh. KhanePe uses feedback when shortlisting vendors for future requirements.
