Daily meal catering in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar

Regular breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner for offices, factories, hostels, PGs and institutions, on a rotating menu with periodic billing, sourced from vendors vetted for food safety.

How does daily meal catering work?

Daily meal catering starts like any KhanePe order: you share the requirement, the team calls you, vendors quote and you confirm one of the best three. The difference is what follows: the vendor supplies meals every agreed day on a rotating menu, meal counts are shared regularly and billing is periodic.

How does MealPe support daily meals?

MealPe, KhanePe’s sister company, makes software for cafeterias and messes: menus, polls, feedback and digital meal counts. For daily contracts, these tools help vendors cook to actual numbers, reduce waste and catch quality issues early, and give administrators a record of what was served.

What about one-time catering?

One-time catering for a single event, such as a party, seminar or festival, is covered by the events KhanePe serves and by each service page. It follows the nine-step process with a one-week minimum window and the 25% / 50% / 25% payment schedule, with the invoice handed over on the day.

Which formats, cuisines and menus suit daily meal catering?

For daily meal catering, vendors most often quote fixed meals, packed meals and mess or canteen service. Popular cuisines include Gujarati, Punjabi and North Indian and South Indian, and the sample menus below give you a ready brief. Every quote states format, menu, staff and price, so the three options compare directly.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum contract period for daily catering?

The contract period is agreed with the vendor you confirm and depends on the number of meals and the setup required. Many offices start with a trial period before a longer agreement. Share the period you have in mind in the requirement call so vendors quote on that basis. The minimum order is 50 pax per day.

How often does the menu change?

For daily contracts, menus usually rotate weekly, so dishes do not repeat on the same weekday, with seasonal changes and festival specials. The rotation is agreed before the contract starts, and feedback, collected through KhanePe or MealPe, can be used to replace unpopular dishes.

How are daily meals billed?

Daily contracts are billed periodically against the agreed per-meal price and the actual meal count. Counts can be recorded digitally through MealPe where the site uses it. Invoices come through KhanePe, so your finance team deals with one supplier. Billing periods are agreed before the contract starts.

Can daily catering include breakfast and dinner?

Yes. Offices usually need lunch and sometimes evening snacks, while hostels, PGs and factories with night shifts often need breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Share the meals you need and the timings, and vendors quote each meal separately. Each meal’s timing and headcount can differ.

What happens if the vendor’s quality drops?

Raise it with the KhanePe team, who take it up with the vendor directly. Feedback is part of every order, and repeated issues affect how vendors are shortlisted in future. If problems continue, KhanePe can source alternative quotes so you are not tied to a vendor who is not delivering.
